Real income of the population increased by 8.5% compared to last year

Before the next plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, meetings of committees are held. At the expanded meeting of the Senate Committee on Budget and economic reform, the Cabinet of Ministers' report on the implementation of the state budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the results of the first half of 2022 was discussed.
It was noted that in the first half of 2022 in our republic, as a result of a coordinated fiscal and monetary incentive, the economy grew by 5.4%. The main drivers of economic growth were Services and the industrial sector.
In turn, as a result of the effective measures taken, the real income of the population amounted to 7.2 million soums, an increase of 8.5% compared to the corresponding period last year.
During the 6 months of 2022, the state budget revenues were fulfilled by an increase of 106% compared to the forecast. Revenues were fulfilled more than 17.8 trillion soums compared to the corresponding period last year, leaving a total of 4 trillion soums at the disposal of local budgets.
The expenditures of the state budget for 6 months of 2022 amounted to more than 103 trillion soums without state target funds, which amounted to 26.4% compared to the gross domestic product.
