Realme GT Neo 5: the smartphone with record-breaking power

The Chinese company Realme has announced the release of a smartphone with record power. The gadget is scheduled to be unveiled on January 5, 2023.

Journalists paid attention to the teaser of the new smartphone Realme GT Neo 5 announced by the company on Weibo. Judging by the image, the device supports 240W fast charging. Other specifications of the device were not disclosed.

The GT Neo 3 is said to have the fastest power at the moment at 150W. The company is expected to release two versions of the Realme GT Neo 5: a model with a 4,600mAh battery will get 240W of power, while a device with a 5000mAh battery will get 150W. The flagship device is expected to feature an overclocked Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

The fastest charging phone on the market at the moment is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer. The device gets a 4,300mAh battery with a 210W charger. According to Xiaomi representatives, the smartphone can be charged to 100% in 9 minutes.
