President Shavkat Mirziyoyev paid a practical visit to Samarkand region. The head of State visited the Tomb of Imam Bukhari on August 24.

This shrine is being rebuilt in a way worthy of the high respect of our great muhaddis grandfather in the Muslim world. A mausoleum, a huge mosque, towers, porches are being built. Our President examined these creative works.

"We discussed this project a lot, we came over and over again. Now you should not rush even in construction. From the point of view of both pilgrimage and prayer, it is necessary to have all the conditions here,” said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The head of State made a proposal to create an electronic museum next to the complex, indicating the life of Imam Bukhari.

"Recently, when we were in the city of Medina, we saw the relics of the Prophet Muhammad and the Museum of Islamic Civilization. It would be nice if we set up a similar Museum here. It shows the life of our grandfather Imam Bukhari, the path of Science, the history of that time through information technology. These remain in the clear imagination of young people, foreign tourists. The museum will be another spiritual treasure for our people," said the head of our state.

The Ministry of development of information technologies and communications and the Ministry of construction were instructed to prepare a project in this regard.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev went to the Hazrati Hezr complex and also visited the mausoleum of our first president Islam Karimov.
