Regular Meeting of the Council of Senior Officials of the ECO Member States

A regular meeting of the Council of Senior Officials of the ECO (Economic Cooperation Organization) Member States started its work in Tashkent on 23 January 2023. Delegations from Central Asia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan as well as the ECO Secretariat are attending the event.

The meeting was opened by First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan F. Sidikov and Secretary General of the organization H. Noziri. The ECO Secretary General praised the organisational and substantive work of the meeting and expressed confidence in further strengthening of the regional cooperation.

During the day the participants of the event will make the necessary preparations for the practical success of the 26th meeting of the ECO Council of Foreign Ministers to be held in Tashkent on January 24.
