Roads leading to the capital were blocked in Uzbekistan

In Uzbekistan, the checkpoints at the entrance to Tashkent were closed, which caused huge traffic jams in the markets of "Bek Baraka" and the former markets of "Abu Sakhi".

From 17:00 on June 27, almost all roads leading to Tashkent were blocked by concrete barriers. Only a few posts remained open, such as the "Erkin" checkpoint in the center of the Zangiotinsky district, so that it was possible to effectively control the entrance and exit from the city.

Recall that due to a sharp increase in the number of cases of COVID-19 in Uzbekistan, at the suggestion of the Ministry of Health, the Special Republican Commission for Combating Coronavirus imposed restrictions from June 28 to July 12.
