Saudi Arabia has supplied 60,000 tons of fuel to Yemen

Saudi Arabia has supplied 60,000 tons of fuel to the Yemeni government to meet its electricity needs.

According to the SPA news agency, the ship, carrying 60,000 tons of diesel fuel, arrived at the port of Az-Zayt in the Yemeni capital, Aden.

The fuel is intended for government-controlled settlements and power plants.
Yemen, which has been embroiled in a civil war for years, is facing a fuel crisis. Today, power outages have led to frequent protests in various parts of the country.

Hans Grundberg, the UN special envoy for Yemen, said on Friday that the Yemeni government and the Ansarullah movement had agreed to suspend air, land and sea operations by the rebels for two months.
