SCO II-Economic Forum will be held in Tashkent

On August 16-17 of this year, within the framework of the chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the II Economic forum will be held in Tashkent.

The Forum, which was held in Dushanbe (Tajikistan) in June 2021, the first martotaba, has established itself as an effective communication platform that serves to develop and further strengthen relations within the organization.

The main purpose of the event is to draw the attention of the parties to the problems and prospects for the development of mutually beneficial trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, to develop effective measures to expand ties in the SCO space.

The event-rich agenda of the forum, consisting of plenary session, panel discussions, bilateral meetings, B2B negotiations, is designed to reveal the potential of the digital economy, “green” technologies, interregional cooperation, expansion of investment, industrial cooperation and other priorities of mutual relations.

The SCO Economic Forum is expected to become an effective platform not only for establishing intergovernmental dialogue, but also for establishing cooperation between representatives of business circles, enterprises and attracting investors to the SCO space regions.
