Several schools and colleges in Kazakhstan closed due to cold weather

Pupils of schools and colleges in a number of regions of Kazakhstan transferred to distance learning due to severe cold weather. It is noted that the order affected Abay, East Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions, as well as Karaganda and Kyzylorda regions. According to the forecast of weather forecasters the temperature in Pavlodar oblast dropped to -30 degrees Celsius on November 29.

According to the press service of the Pavlodar Oblast Department of Education, students of pre-school educational institutions and the first shift of grades 1-9 are being sent to distance learning.

In Kazakhstan region, it is noted that students of grades 0-11 will receive distance learning in ten cities, such as Ust-Kamenogorsk and Altai, and students of grades 0-9 in the city of Ridder.
