Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Khorezm region

A session of the Khorezm Regional Council of People's Deputies is taking place in the city of Urgench. It is attended by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The session considered the organizational issue. The President recommended acting khokim Rakhimov Jurabek Rakhimovich for the position of khokim of the Khorezm region.

The candidate presented his plans to provide employment and increase the income of the population in the region, ensure food security, develop industry, increase energy capacity, address social issues, and improve living conditions in the region.

Then the issue of appointing the khokim of the Khorezm region was put to the vote. According to the voting results, Jurabek Rakhimov was approved as khokim of the region.

Currently, the session discusses the prospects for further development of the region, determines further plans and tasks.
