Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulates President of Turkmenistan on his birthday

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held telephone conversation with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on September 22.

At the outset of conversation, the head of our state sincerely congratulated the President of Turkmenistan on his birthday, wishing him healthy life, prosperity and extensive successes as well as prosperity to the fraternal Turkmen people.

The current issues of enhancing and strengthening the Uzbek-Turkmen relations of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership have been discussed.

Particular attention has been paid to the fertile agenda of forthcoming summits. The presidents noted the ample opportunities for building up the volumes of mutual trade, for boosting cooperation in manufacturing, energy, transport and agriculture, for expanding the cultural and humanitarian exchange program.

The heads of state also exchanged views
on the prospects of regional partnership. The heads of state spoke highly of the fruitful outcomes of Samarkand summit of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

In conclusion of conversation, the President of Uzbekistan congratulated the President and the fraternal people of Turkmenistan on the forthcoming state holiday - Independence Day, and expressed his best wishes for peace, sustainable development and prosperity of Turkmenistan.
