Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the confectionery enterprise

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is in Yangihayot district of Tashkent to get acquainted with the life of makhallas and industrial projects.

The President first inspected the confectionery plant of “Almerro Group” LLC.
The enterprise worth 70 billion UZS consists of two stages. The first phase was launched in November last year. A new building has been constructed and equipped with modern technology from Turkey.

Today, the company enable a production capacity of about 2,000 tons of confectionery per year. It produces 95 types of products such as chocolate, candy, biscuits, waffles, where120 people are employed.

The head of state was informed about the quality of confectionery.

“The quality is reasonably good. There is only one way to lower the price. For example, if imported supplements are purchased in the form of raw materials and make them on the spot, the cost can be abated by 10-15%. Then the products will sell well and create additional jobs”, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

After the commissioning of the second phase of the plant, the annual capacity will reach 10,000 tons. Some of the products are intended to be exported to neighboring countries and Mongolia.
