Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited the Prime Minister of Japan to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan

On June 9, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida had a telephone conversation.
The sides discussed issues of further development and expansion of multifaceted Uzbek-Japanese cooperation, as well as topical issues of international and regional significance.
The leaders cordially congratulated each other on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries and the 20th anniversary of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Japan.
The head of our state expressed sincere gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Government of Japan for their full support of the irreversible reforms being carried out in New Uzbekistan. Japan's JICA and the Bank for International Cooperation (JABIC) have provided more than $ 7 billion in financial and technical assistance.
In addition, the results of fruitful meetings and talks of government delegations this year were praised.
The leaders stressed the importance of further expanding practical cooperation and promoting projects in the fields of innovation, "green" economy, digital technologies, science and education, cultural and humanitarian exchange programs and inter-parliamentary dialogue.
It was agreed to organize a large-scale exhibition of Uzbekistan at the world exhibition "EXPO-2025" in Osaka.
The issues on the international agenda were also touched upon during the talks.
At the end of the conversation, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited Prime Minister Fumio Kishida to pay an official visit to our country.
