Signing and launching ceremony of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Program

On November 24, 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov took part in the Signing and Launching Ceremony of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Program for Central Asia for 2022-2025 held in Tashkent.

The event was also attended by UN Deputy Secretary General, UNODC Executive Director Gada Fathi Wali, Deputy Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan Akan Rakhmetullin, Kyrgyzstan - Azizbek Madmarov, Tajikistan - Muzaffar Huseynzoda and Turkmenistan - Vepa Khodzhiev.

In his speech, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan dwelled on the main areas of cooperation with the UNODC, noted the effectiveness of the previous phase of the Office of transnational threats.
