Sobyanin estimated Moscow's expenses in the coronavirus pandemic

The coronavirus pandemic has cost the Moscow budget more than 600 billion rubles, said the mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"We did not receive 200-250 billion rubles of revenue last year. And for 1.5 years, we have spent about 350 billion more on the fight against covid: treatment, social support and assistance to business",– the mayor said.

According to Sobyanin, the Moscow authorities spent about 100 billion rubles to support the population and business.
