Some benefits provided to persons with disabilities

Persons with disabilities are allocated an additional quota of admission to the university on the basis of a state grant. They are not charged for the use of parking spaces reserved for motor vehicles. There is also a 50% discount on services provided by the PSC and/or UPIPS to persons with Group I and II disabilities.

    No state fee is charged for state registration (re-registration) of symbols of public associations for persons with disabilities.

    The state service for allocating benefits to children under 18 years of age with disabilities, and to persons with disabilities from childhood over the age of 18, is provided free of charge.

    Persons with group I and II disabilities are included in the preferential list when their children are admitted to state preschool institutions.

    Prosthetic and orthopedic devices and technical means of rehabilitation are issued to persons in need, on the basis of an appropriate medical opinion.

    Persons with disabilities are entitled to free sanatorium-resort therapy.

    Property within 60 square meters, owned by persons with group I and II disabilities, is exempt from taxation.

    In hotels, rooms with special conditions are arranged for persons with disabilities.

    Persons with Groups I and II disabilities who live in an office building are evicted from the office building with the provision of other housing.

    Young people with disabilities are granted a subsidy of up to 50 times the amount of BVC (up to 15 million soums).

    Children with disabilities are exempt from paying for classes and the use of swimming pools, the operation of which is financed from the budget.

    Persons with disabilities from childhood as well as persons with disabilities of groups I and II are exempt from taxation on income in the amount of 3 times the minimum wage (2 million 760 thousand soums).
