Cooperation between the National Olympic Committees of Uzbekistan and the UAE strengthened

A memorandum on cooperation between National Olympic Committees of Uzbekistan and the UAE was signed. Secretaries-General of both committees, Oybek Kasimov and Azza Bintu Suleiman, attended the event in Dubai.

According to the plan, the main and youth national teams of the two countries will cooperate more closely in such areas as preparation for major complex competitions, Asian and world championships, sports management and medicine.

There will also be an exchange of experience in preparing for major competitions and improving the existing infrastructure.

In the course of conversation, Azza Bintu Suleiman said that sports in Uzbekistan occupies a high position not only on the continent, but also in the world, and that the bilateral cooperation will facilitate a more intensive development of countries in the sphere of sports.

In his turn, Oybek Kasimov praised UAE sport, noting that cooperation with UAE National Olympic Committee is useful for our country's sport.
