Stand of Uzbekistan presented at the World Travel Market London

From 7 to 9 November the largest international tourism exhibition "World Travel Market" is held in London. Members of Uzbek delegation held negotiations with representatives of CNN, Euronews and BBC to develop projects on promotion of Uzbekistan for 2023.

The delegation of Uzbekistan included representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan, the National PR-Centre, Uzbekistan Airways and a number of travel agencies.

Guests and participants of the international exhibition were able to learn about new tourist destinations and opportunities in our country, which could attract tourists from Europe and overseas.

There were also held talks with major marketing and PR-companies to promote new tourist sites, tourist centres and cities of Uzbekistan in the European market.

As part of WTM-2022 negotiations were also held between Uzbekistani travel companies and foreign exhibitors to organize visits of tourist groups to our country.

At the same time, foreign journalists were informed that in 2023 Samarkand will be held the 25th anniversary session of the General Assembly of the UN World Tourism Organization.

P.S. WTM London is one of the largest and most popular international exhibitions in the field of tourism, where almost the entire range of services in this area is presented. As Europe's second largest travel exhibition (after Berlin), WTM has been held annually in London since 1980. Since 2009, Uzbekistan has been a regular participant in the event.
