Students of universities in Russian regions bordering Ukraine can transfer their studies to Uzbekistan

According to the press service of the STC, in accordance with the decision of the State Commission No 7, citizens of Uzbekistan studying at universities in Kursk, Bryansk, Belgorod, Voronezh, Rostov and Krasnodar regions of the Russian Federation (at the border with Ukraine) are allowed to transfer their studies to state universities of Uzbekistan as an exception.
According to the document:
-Students in accordance with their applications are transferred to a corresponding and related (close in content in case of compatibility and lack of kinship) educational course of higher education institution located in the territory of the address of permanent residence;
-Transfer applications will be accepted from 1 to 20 November 2022 (also on this date) at the State Testing Centre my.dtm.uz (section "transfer of studies from the Russian Federation");
-The Ministry of Foreign Affairs checks whether the students are actually enrolled in a particular higher education institution from 25 November to 15 December 2022;
-The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialised Education takes the decision to approve the transfer of students irrespective of the departmental subordination of the higher education institution;
-The education of citizens will not be transferred unless it is established that they are actually studying at a specific HEI in the Russian Federation;
-Students whose studies have been postponed are allowed to continue their studies in the relevant course as an exception. The differences in the subjects identified in this case will be retaken free of charge during the academic year 2022-2023.
