Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a press conference in Samarkand on the results of a meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministry Council that the dollar will soon lose its power.

"This trend is irreversible. The Americans have already seriously cut the bough on which they were sitting, leading international finance and the world economy as a whole, using the dominant role of the dollar. The flight from the dollar now begins, it is not very fast yet, but it will certainly accelerate," said Lavrov.
