Tashkent Youth Forum 2021

Today Congress Hall in Tashkent City has started to host “Tashkent Youth Forum 2021”.

This event was organized for the first time in 2020 by the mayor's office in the capital on the initiative of the head of state and was attended by over 10,000 young males and females. This year's event is projected to draw around 15,000 young people.

The primal target of the forum is to unite active, aspiring and enterprising young people, to instill a sense of belonging to the life of the country, to support their ideas and initiatives.

The grand opening of the forum took place on December 20. Meetings with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov, Minister of Justice Ruslanbek Davletov, Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education Abdukodir Tashkulov, Minister of Information and Communication Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov were scheduled to hold.

Other halls are expected to feature speeches by representatives of the embassies of Germany, Russia, the United States, Switzerland, France and Japan, meetings with First Deputy Director of the Agency for Civil Service Development under the President of Uzbekistan Otabek Khasanov, master classes with writers and artists. In addition, the documentary film "Abdulla Qodiri" will be displayed.

On the second day of the forum, December 21, participants will resume conversations with bloggers and influencers, open dialogue with MIA and National Guard staff, discussions on gender equality issues, and many other fun activities.

What is more, Khilola Umarova, Director of the Presidential Agency for Educational Institutions, is also expected to encounter with youngsters.
On the big stage, conference with Deputy Prime Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations - Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov, Minister of Health Behzod Musayev, Chairman of Employment and Labor Relations Nozim Khusanov, Chairman of the State Tax Committee Sherzod Kudbiyev, the chairman of the Agency for Youth Affairs Alisher Sadullayev was planned.

As part of the forum, the organizers will announce the launch of a grant program for study abroad, competitions and awarding the winners of the events held as part of the month "Tashkent loves youth". Students will also be awarded scholarships by Tashkent's mayor.

At the end of the forum, the top 100 proposals from young people will be incorporated into the program, and plans will be devised to put them into action in the long run.
