Textbooks will not only be free, but will also be critically reviewed in terms of quality

Following the relevant instruction of the head of State on school textbooks, the head of the Presidential Administration, Sardor Umurzakov, held a critical meeting on this issue.

It formed a large working group consisting of responsible representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of public education, the inspection of quality control of Education and a number of other organizations to conduct a comprehensive examination of all school textbooks, identify existing errors and shortcomings in them, improve their quality.

The task was set for the Accounts Chamber, the Antimonopoly Committee and the Ministry of public education to critically review the system of preparation, publication, cost and distribution of textbooks for a period of 1 month, to introduce a transparent and effective system for the implementation of the state order.
