Thailand cuts quarantine to 10 days

Thailand will reduce the quarantine for all those arriving in the country  by four days, from 14 to 10 days, Bloomberg reported. The authorities assume that the quarantine will be lifted from October 1. The two-week isolation requirement will remain for arrivals from countries with new strains of coronavirus, according to a spokesman for the Thai COVID-19 Operations Headquarters.

So far, Thailand has eased restrictions very carefully. As experts suggested, the country's government has refused to reduce the quarantine to seven days for all visitors. This period will be valid from April 1 only for those vaccinated against COVID-19.

All travelers quarantined in hotels will be able to use local gyms, swimming pools and eat in restaurants at their hotels, the Bangkok Post also notes.
