The Academic Council, which grants DSc degrees, will be established

Presidential Decree "On measures to further improve training and research in physical culture and sport" has been adopted. Under the Decree, educational programmes at the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sport and its branches will be based on the programmes of foreign institutions of higher learning with high international ratings.

Also in the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports and its branches the educational programs will be formed on the program of foreign universities with high international rating.

From academic year 2023/2024, professional (art) entrance examinations are waived and the maximum score is obtained:

Athletes with the honorary title of Honoured Athlete of Uzbekistan;
Athletes with the title of Master of Sport of Uzbekistan International Class or International Grandmaster;
Athletes with the title of Master of Sport of Uzbekistan or Grandmaster of Uzbekistan;
Athletes who won (1st place) in the last year's national championships in sports included in the Olympic and Paralympic Games and Asian and Paralympic Games programme.
As from 1 January 2023, the Pahlavon Mahmud State Stipend for Physical Culture and Sport was established.
