The Algerian and Tunisian governments have decided to open the borders

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune met with his Tunisian counterpart Kais Said. The negotiations took place in the conference hall of Algeria's Haari Boumidien airport.

After the meeting, Tebbun confirmed that he and Qais Syed had decided to open the land borders between the two countries to private vehicles and pedestrians from July 15.

Abdelmajid Tebbun noted that the border between the countries was not closed for trade, but the movement of civil transport was restricted due to quarantine measures.
