The badge «Defender of nature» is established

The “Defender of nature” is awarded a cash prize, which is paid in one go in the amount of four times the amount of the base calculation. The list of those awarded is published on the official website of the state committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the internet and other media.

Citizens who have achieved significant results in the field of Ecology and Environmental Protection, Conservation of nature, rational use of natural resources, as well as introduced the achievements of Science in the field into practice, effectively used modern technologies and took special initiative in the expansion and greening of green spaces will be awarded the badge “Defender of nature”.

The badge is solemnly handed over to its owners every year on the eve of June 5-World Environment Day. Such recognition can also be attributed to persons who are not citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
