A meeting is being held to discuss the implementation of the tasks set at the beginning of the year on school education reform and the priorities for the end of the year.

It was noted at the meeting that 1,526 schools across the country are included in the "red" category in terms of children's upbringing, attendance and spiritual environment.

In particular, 69 schools in Tashkent, 169 schools in Surkhandarya and 128 schools in Karakalpakstan, 54 schools in Syrdarya, 162 schools in Fergana and 147 schools in Tashkent region were found to be unsatisfactory.

“This shows that the district and city mayors are not involved in school issues at all. Even after the selection in January, they did not come to a conclusion.
I would like to warn the governors of these provinces, districts and cities one last time. If there is no change within three months, serious action will be taken.
