The climber from Uzbekistan who conquered Everest was presented with a Trailblazer

The President of Uzbekistan awarded the honorary title "Uzbekiston iftixori" to the mountaineer Sergey Danisenko, who conquered the highest point of the Earth.

We remind you that Sergey is the first climber from Uzbekistan, who managed to conquer the highest point of the planet — Everest (8848 m) from the southern slope. On June 1, a climber reached the top of the Himalayan Mountain range and placed the flag of Uzbekistan on it. He dedicated his achievement to the 30th anniversary of the country's independence.

The climber was solemnly welcomed at the Tashkent airport, where representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the National Olympic Committee, media representatives and Sergey's relatives participated.
