The E-Commerce Act has been signed into law by the president

According to the law, in e-commerce, a contract is executed in the form of an electronic document by agreeing the terms of the contract between the parties through electronic documents and (or) confirmation messages.

Electronic documents in e-commerce are equivalent to documents executed on paper and signed by hand.

In e-commerce, sellers include:

Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs engaged in retail and (or) wholesale sales of goods (works, services) on the
E-commerce marketplace; self-employed persons carrying out activities of retail sale of goods (works, services) on the E-commerce marketplace.

Payments in the spheres are made in the following ways:
- Cash - by providing the buyer with the documents confirming receipt of cash through virtual terminals (E-POS) as a means of payment, as well as documents containing information about the seller and sold goods;
- Money transfer from a bank account - transfer of funds from a bank account by means, including through a personal account or through the system of a payment organisation;
- By means of electronic money - transfer of funds to an electronic purse opened in an electronic money system.

The law shall enter into force three months after the date of its official publication.
