The head of Kyrgyzstan highly appreciated the creative works carried out in Samarkand

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, who is in our country on a practical visit to participate in the SCO summit.

The leader of Kyrgyzstan expressed his gratitude to the leader of our country for his warm hospitality, and noted the large-scale creative works carried out in Samarkand.

The presidents noted with pleasure that fruitful bilateral cooperation based on the principles of strategic partnership is developing at a positive pace. Mutual trade is growing rapidly, its volume has increased by 30% since the beginning of the year.

Joint cooperation projects are being implemented in the fields of industry, energy, agriculture and water management, and transport. Interregional and cultural-humanitarian exchanges are expanding.

Particular attention was paid to the importance of starting the construction of the "China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan" railway and Kambarota-1 HPP as soon as possible, which will serve the development of the entire Central Asian region.

Opinions were exchanged on the plan of future high-level dialogues and topical issues of regional and international importance.
