The head of our state talked to the youth of Navoi

Wherever I go, I try to meet more with young people. We have set big goals in our development strategy and regional programs. Unless government organizations and leaders at all levels fully address the issues of the youth, these objectives will not be achieved," said the President.

The youth of the region show their talent and activity in all spheres. This year they ranked first in the country in terms of the number of entrants to higher education institutions. Most of the winners of international scientific Olympiads and prestigious competitions are also from Navoi.

This year, 50 billion soums have been allocated for the development of entrepreneurship among unorganized youth. 13 thousand 700 young men and women have launched their own businesses. A total of 1,600 hectares of cultivated land have been allocated, and more than 6,000 young people have been employed. The sum total of 6.5 billion soums was allocated to the students in difficult conditions.

The accomplishments of Navoi's youth, no doubt, inspire a sense of pride in all of us. But we must not rest on our laurels. What else can we do to fulfill the desires and needs, and ensure the future of our young people? How can we help you acquire knowledge and professions and unlock your potential? These questions worry me," Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
The President listened to views and suggestions of the youth. The task to launch a new platform helping young people to study and find jobs in professions demanded in the labor market was set.

Instructions were given to attract the youth to the industrial zones, to provide water for pastures, to support stock-breeding initiatives through the Entrepreneurship Support Fund.

The importance of popularizing sports among young people through organizing a specialized sports school and sports sections in the mahallas of Navoi was noted. It was indicated the necessity of providing 325 schools in the region with books and musical instruments at the expense of the Youth Fund, increasing cultural activities.

During the meeting, it was decided to create an experience of Navoi region in implementation of foregoing initiatives. The main purpose of this system will be spiritual-educational development, providing employment and meaningful organization of free time of youth.
