The Ministry of Energy reported the reason for the decrease in gas supply

Due to malfunctions in the system, there are cases of disruption of technological processes at existing gas fields and oil refineries in the country. This, in turn, leads to a decrease in gas production.

Therefore, at thermal power plants, a decrease in gas pressure is observed, which negatively affects the volume of electricity generation.

At present, based on the existing production capacities, electricity is supplied to some regions of the country alternately.

All necessary measures are still being taken to eliminate problems and failures in the energy system, the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan said in a statement.
