The number of enterprises has doubled in the last three years

The meeting touched upon the newly drafted Labour Code, which has been thoroughly worked on for two years as instructed by the President.

Today, the labour force has reached almost 19 million people, and the number of enterprises has doubled in the last three years.

The current Labour Code was adopted in 1995, when the private sector accounted for only 21 per cent, but now it exceeds 83 per cent.

Therefore, the new code has created ample opportunities for entrepreneurs and provides many favourable conditions for increasing employment.

The head of state stressed that until this important code is adopted, the key issue is how to effectively implement it.

It was pointed out that it is necessary to inform the population, all ministers, Hokims, heads of about 600,000 enterprises about what is going on.
