The number of kindergartens will double

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting on May 24, where the issues of expanding the coverage of preschool education in the regions were discussed. This is reported by President.uz.

Now the number of kindergartens will double.

The government will allocate 30 billion sums for the free delivery of textbooks and teaching materials to prinate kindergartens.

Soft loans up to 30 million sums will be provided at a rate of 5% to provide the necessary equipment.

The amount of subsidies for the upbringing of children in kindergartens of the public-private partnership will be increased from 50% to 75%.

Moreover, it was instructed to compensate for 50% of electricity and natural gas bills for private kindergartens.
