The number of licensed organizations that give the right to carry out insurance activities has increased by 127%

It is noted that Uzbekistan has a total of 42 insurance organizations with a license that gives the right to carry out insurance activities as of July 1, 2022. (Increased by 127 percent compared to the 1st half of 2019). Of these, 34 operate in the field of General Insurance and 8 in the field of life insurance.

According to the indicators of the insurance market of Uzbekistan, in the 1st half of 2022, more than 7 million insurance contracts were concluded (106% compared to the 1st half of 2019), on which 2 billion 771 million sum insurance premiums were collected, which increased by 63.2% compared to the same period in 2021 (2.2 times compared to the 1st half of 2019).
