The opening ceremony of a new innovative scientific center in agriculture

Strategic Development of Agriculture for 2020-2030 was adopted at the initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan and Presidential decree, in order to develop the agricultural sector of the country in 2019.

This year, “National Center for Knowledge and Innovation in Agriculture” was created in the Yukori-Chirchik district of the Tashkent region as a practice of this strategy.

Embassies and media representatives took part in the opening ceremony of the center, together with a number of ministries and departments and members of international organizations.

The Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev expressed gratitude to the visitors, noting the exceptional role of this center in the industry and the need to obtain innovative knowledge based on world experience.

Representatives of Media and all other visitors were got acquainted with activities of the Center as part of the Media Tour included in Agenda.
