The President examined creative work in Samarkand

High-level visits, the passage of international summits in the regions are one of the aspects that indicate the development of the country. As a result of the complex development of the regions, such large events have been held in different cities in recent years.
Several international level events will take place in Samarkand in the coming months. At the moment, great preparations are underway for these conferences.
The head of State examined this process during his visit to the region.
There are many monuments of the late XIX - early XX centuries in the city of Samarkand. In such historical buildings on Alisher Navoi and Shakhrukh streets, it is planned to organize museums dedicated to interethnic friendship and cooperation with foreign countries.
The president approved these plans and gave instructions on content enrichment of museums, showing close relations with partner countries.
On August 23, the international tourism center “Great Silk Road” was opened in Samarkand district. This complex hosts major international conferences.
The head of State got acquainted with the conditions created here in Congress Hall and hotels.
Two of the hotels are 5-star and six are 4-star. The total area of Congress Hall is about 6 thousand square meters. It has a capacity of 3 thousand 500 people. A situational center was also established to effectively coordinate work during the conferences.
The president gave recommendations on increasing the comfort of foreign delegations and bilateral meetings here.
With this, the visit of the head of our state to the Samarkand region was completed, and the president returned to Tashkent.
