The President is chairing a video conference on improving the activity of emergency medical services

“People tend to feel the reforms in the health care system first and foremost when they encounter changes in emergency medical care.
First aid during the "golden hour" to save human health and life is, undoubtedly, emergency medical care.
In fact, this very scope has been largely ignored.
Over the past five years, we have begun to work hard to enhance the material and technical base of these vital areas, to proliferate human resources, ” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
Particularly, in this phase:
2,224 new ambulances were delivered or 80 % of the fleet was renewed;
the number of contemporary resuscitation vehicles boosted from 24 to 435;
the amount of money allotted for medicines per call has been increased 16 times, and the range of medicines has been escalated from 20 to 45.
