The President noted that the Islamic Solidarity Games were organized at a high level

On August 15, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Issues of further strengthening of Uzbek-Turkish relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and expansion of multifaceted cooperation were discussed.
Touching upon regional aspects, the leaders of the two countries expressed deep satisfaction with the successful holding of the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Transport of Uzbekistan, Turkiye and Azerbaijan, held in early August in Tashkent. The importance of further development of practical cooperation in this format was emphasized.
The sides also exchanged views on cooperation within international and regional structures, including the Organization of Turkic States and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The Head of our state particularly noted the high organization of the fifth Islamic Solidarity Games, held these days in the Turkish city of Konya, where Uzbek athletes perform effectively.
