The President of the Russian Federation will visit the Republic of Uzbekistan

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will visit our country on September 15-16 within the framework of the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Samarkand.

Issues of further strengthening of strategic partnership and alliance relations, expansion of trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian cooperation were on the agenda of the talks between the leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia.

Particular attention will be paid to the expansion of industrial cooperation, the activation of relations between regions and businessmen, the promotion of joint economic projects and humanitarian programs.

In addition, the heads of state will exchange views on current issues of international and regional importance.

President Vladimir Putin will also participate in the next meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State.
