The President of Uzbekistan received the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan

On March 26, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Maripov, who is in Tashkent to participate in the work of the next meeting of the Joint Commission on Bilateral Cooperation, the President's press service reported.

The meeting discussed issues of further development of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

During the conversation, the President of Uzbekistan paid special attention to the issues of creating favorable conditions for increasing the volume of mutual trade, promoting significant cooperation projects in the spheres of industry, energy, agriculture and water management, the early launch of the Development Fund, as well as expanding interregional and cultural and humanitarian exchanges.

At the end of the meeting, the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic assured of his readiness to make every effort to unconditionally implement the agreements reached between the heads of the two states and aimed at the consistent development of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz full-scale partnership.
