The president will have his own sign and flag

Rules are introduced regarding the distinctive signs of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, that is, his own sign and flag.

At a meeting of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the draft law “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan” on the Basic Guarantees of the Activities of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan ”was discussed.

The bill was presented to the deputies by the Minister of Justice Ruslanbek Davletov.

It is noted that the bill introduces rules regarding the insignia of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, that is, his own sign and standard (flag).

In foreign countries, it has been established that the head of state's own badge and standard is presented to the newly elected president after taking the oath. Due to the fact that these issues are not regulated by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, it is proposed to supplement the legislation with norms of the corresponding content.

It was noted that this order is a sign of the people's and society's confidence in the fact that the elected person effectively performs the complex tasks entrusted to the presidency.
