The Presidents of Turkey and Syria can communicate by phone after ten years

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Syrian President Assad can communicate by phone. It is noted that the Presidents have not communicated since 2011.

The discussion of their negotiations began on August 5 of this year after Erdogan's meeting with Vladimir Putin in Sochi.

The topic of terrorism in Syria was discussed at the meeting in Sochi. Russian representatives invited Erdogan to discuss this topic with Bashar al-Assad.
