The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Russia exchanged views on the current situation around Ukraine

On February 25, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

A number of topical issues of Uzbek-Russian cooperation were discussed.

The heads of state reviewed the progress in the practical implementation of the agreements reached as a result of contacts at the highest level, including the promotion of joint cooperation projects in the trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

An exchange of views also took place on the international and regional agenda, including the current situation around Ukraine.
