The price of AI-80 gasoline will not increase until the end of the year

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev extended until December 31, 2023 the period of application of the "zero" rate of excise duty on gasoline AI-80. The press secretary of the President informed about it.

The deadline for the application of excise duty at the "zero" rate on AI-80 petrol, introduced by a presidential decree and effective from December 10, 2022, was due to expire tomorrow, March 1, 2023.

"In accordance with the decree signed by the head of state today, in order to meet the demand for petroleum products and ensure price stability, the application of the zero rate of excise tax to AI-80 gasoline imported, produced by domestic enterprises and sold by business entities to end consumers, has been extended until December 31, 2023." - the statement said.
