The procedure for awarding the «Yangi Uzbekiston Yulduzlari» National Prize has been defined

The government decree approved the Regulation on the National Award of Culture and Art "Yangi Uzbekiston Yulduzlari". Awarded artists are rewarded with a monetary prize in the amount of 100 BCV and receive a special award statuette and a certificate.
The regulations set the order of awarding the "Yangi Uzbekiston Yulduzlari" National Prize of Culture and Art to talented artists who have made considerable contributions to the development of culture and art of our country and raising its prestige at the international level.
Artists are traditionally awarded once a year on the following dates
Nominations for the National Prize (20 nominations in total) are selected annually from 10 January to 10 February;
Selected nominations are announced by March 1 of each year
Nominees for the award must be submitted to the Ministry of Culture (working body) by 1 November of each year
The working body examines nomination files from 1 to 10 November each year
The working body reviews the documents from 10 to 15 November each year to select the 3 best candidates (in each category)
The list of the 3 best candidates is published every year from 15 December to 10 January the following year in the social media for the general public to vote on;
The awarding of the current year's winners will take place on January 25 of the following year.
