The representative offices of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade attract new investors to Uzbekistan

The representative offices of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade in various partner countries are systematically searching and attracting foreign direct investments in various sectors of the economy of Uzbekistan, including through negotiations of representatives of various ministries and agencies as well as business circles.

In particular, the Ministry's Office in the United Arab Emirates has organized negotiations between the leadership of the Ministry of Public Education, the Agency for Development of Public Private Partnership and State Assets Management Agency of Uzbekistan and representatives of Bright Capital Investment LLC (UAE) to discuss the prospects of attracting company's capabilities to implement investment projects in education and tourism in our country.

In order to attract investors to implementation of joint infrastructure projects in water treatment sphere the negotiations between leadership of Uzsuvtaminot JSC and ADSSC (UAE) were also held.

During meetings with representatives of Emirati companies the investment climate in Uzbekistan, privileges and preferences provided to foreign investors in our country were presented.

Following the talks, agreements have been reached to organise a visit by the heads of Emirati companies to Uzbekistan in November this year to gain a closer look at local projects and discuss technical and financial aspects of their implementation.
