The Republican Commission on Road Safety will be established. It is headed by a prime minister whose deputy will be the interior minister.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced the establishment of the Republican Commission for Road Safety, which will be headed by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and will be replaced by Interior Minister Pulat Bobojonov.
Territorial commissions are headed by governors. The commissions will study the condition of the roads and the existing infrastructure and hotspots.
In order to enhance the field on the basis of a scientific approach, the task was set to establish a Research and Practice Center in cooperation with the University of Transport within 3 months.
Such regional centers will be launched in the transport colleges in the provinces, headed by the heads of the Traffic Safety Administration.
