The role of mass media in legal education of the population

The seminar focused on the role of the media in promoting the rule of law, the factors of ensuring the openness and transparency of state bodies, preventing the spread of disinformation, as well as the legal and ethical aspects of working with information sources.

A journalist is an employee of a periodical, whose duties are to quickly collect, process, competently and clearly present relevant information. Due to the development of the Internet and the rapid dissemination of information, a small mistake by a journalist can negatively affect the reputation of an individual or the entire state.

It should be noted that the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Justice and other state bodies have assigned a number of specific tasks to strengthen the role of the media in raising the legal culture of the population. The resolution approved a program of measures to improve the legal culture in the society for 2020-2021.
