Thirty-eighth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis begins its work

Today, March 14, the thirty-eighth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan opened in Tashkent.

The plenary session is attended by senators, government officials, heads of state bodies, ministries and agencies, representatives of diplomatic corps and international organizations accredited in our country, members of the Youth Parliament under the Senate, as well as media professionals.

The plenary session is chaired by the Chairperson of the Senate, Tanzila Narbayeva. It considers the issue of holding a referendum of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the draft Constitutional Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan".

The plenary session is broadcast live on the TV channels O'zbekiston 24, O'zbekiston, Uzreport TV channel and through the Senate's YouTube page.
