Today we can say with confidence that our Dialogue has become an authoritative, influential regional platform

Within the framework of the Annual Meeting of the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asian Countries, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairperson of the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asian Countries Tanzila Narbaeva made a speech.

"Almost exactly a year ago, on December 23, 2020, the first constituent meeting of our Dialogue took place in the format of video conferencing.
The creation of this site was the result of much thought, effort and consultation. For the first time, I discussed this issue with Ms. Herman back in 2018. And only two years later, we managed to gather women leaders from Central Asian countries and make an appropriate decision on the establishment of our informal regional coalition.

As an initiator and enthusiast of solidarity and unification of women in Central Asia, I am very grateful to my colleagues from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan for entrusting me with such a responsible mission as the chairmanship in the first year of functioning of our still very young regional platform.

I think that today we can say with confidence that in a very short time, our Dialogue has become an authoritative, influential regional platform. The all-round support and assistance of the respected heads of our states, as well as international partners, turned out to be invaluable for us.

Without the support of our esteemed heads of state, such an active development of the women's movement in Central Asia would not have been possible.

Without the care and support of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the heads of state of Central Asia, such an active development of the women's movement would not have been possible. "- Tanzila Narbaeva
